Depression is something that is hard to explain and more common than you think. Here are some ways to cope while you're going through it and a little bit more about my journey.
The first thing you have to understand is that depression among many other mental health disorders is an invisible illness. Meaning you are the only one who can identify your state and the more you know about yourself the easier it is to manage your symptoms.
After years of therapy, and journaling I was able to identify what things trigger my depression and things that help but it's going to take some time and a lot of patience. Depression made me feel like I was locked in a dark room in the back of your own head wanting desperately to escape
