Moving back home because of COVID.

My new reality because of COVID is heartbreaking, to say the least. Living in L.A. has been a dream of mine since I was little and I don't feel like I am finished making memories here yet. As of right now, I have no choice but to pack up everything I own and go back to the Bay Area until life becomes normal again and I can get a full-time job to afford to live on my own.

My roommate and I have been looking for homes to rent and other roommates for a month now, and no matter how many times we had that "this is it" moment something came up and we were either rejected by the relator or flaked on by the girls we were talking to.

I couldn't help but think that there was a reason why none of these locations or girls work out. It was just fate. I am moving back to the bay TEMPORARILY but I am already thinking about ways to make this transition and move beneficial.

First things first, my debt. With all of this uncertainty, I wasn't sure if moving to a more expensive apartment was a good idea. I already struggle to pay my bills and the world after COVID is looking bleaker as the days go by. We are going to have to continue social distancing for at least a year if not longer after this quarantine is lifted and that means that the world is going to change in every single way, including shopping. I can only assume that malls will be limiting both staff and customers which means fewer hours for non-essential retail employees like me.
